    Question phantom wifi?

As strange as it may sound..

has anyone else picked up non-existent wi-fi networks in the middle of nowhere?

I was hiking Mt. Washington recently and in the middle of a trail about halfway up (5k+feet) the 8320 picked up a wifi signal, and started it's usual arrow fiasco from a UMA signal.

Other times, I'll get the "signal" of a wifi network at a friends house in NY (i'm in Boston) and it will switch to the UMA.

anybody out there want to tell me i'm not insane?
