    though it quit syncing, and then I upgraded the os again. It seems like I probably wouldn't have accidentally deleted something in two different os installations.

    Any other ideas guys, I still cannot get this thing to sync........

    Tim, I reread through the posts above. You said you deleted the CICAL entry from your service books, but did you log into your BIS and resend service books to your device?

    still nothing resent the service books again, it still will not sync

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Desktop Manager software?

    Yeah I even went back to DM 4.5 then back to 4.6. Still nothing ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

    Can you do backups and restores? Have you tried wiping the handheld and starting from scratch?

    yeah i can back up fine. I wiped it, and upgraded from .44 to .55.
    today i tried what i found here

    That's platform .75, but application package .52, so you're downgrading. Is that what you want to do?

    Did you also do a "factory reset" type of wipe, using jl_cmndr?

    yeah after you questioned that i realized that... stopped the download.

    yes i did the factory wipe with jl_cmndr.

    Just for giggles, let's try one more thing. Have you tried DM 4.3 by chance?
