Outlook 2003 and 8310 will not sync

Ok I am pulling my hair out now. I have tried everything I know, and have found online.
I have an ATT 8310 4.5.0.55 that will not sync with my Outlook 2003 calendar.
I have confirmed the time settings are correct.
The device only has one calendar associated with it. I only use outlook as my calendar anymore.
I have a gmail account as my primary email account.
I have deleted the email address with the cical extension.
I upgraded the OS to the one above, from .44.
I am running desktop version 4.6, and had the same problem with 4.5 .
When I upgraded the OS I wiped the handheld.
I have tried the one way sync in both directions, and two way sync.
When I upgraded the OS it synced one time, but not since.
I only sync the calendr, not tasks or anything else.

anyone that can help PLEAASSEEE I am ready to chuck this thing through a wall.....

I'm assuming you've gone in and setup your sync items in the desktop manager?

I only ask that because I just got done syncing my calendar and tasks from my outlook 03 with my 8310 w/ .69 OS

Yea I have set it up in DM and deleted the settins and re set it up again. I was going to try .69 but couldn't find it online. It worked for the last year almost fine. I didn't apply a new upgrade or mess with any settings before it started this.

Is it possible for you to try syncing your device on another computer running DM? This would weed out the possibility of the problem being with Outlook and not the BB.

Ok so I tried it on another computer. It does the initial processing then stalls, then the window closes with no error code. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I believe you have to set up your 2003 outlook with the same gmail account as your BB and set it as primary, because on the BB, each email address have its own calendar.

not true. I hate to say that. my outlook on my laptop uses my time warner email address and the email address on my BB are my BIS email address and my gmail addresses. Nothing referencing my time warner account.

Have you tried syncing on another computer?

Yeah I tried setting gmail up on outlook. It didn't seem to change things. When I tried it with another computer it didn't change anything.

Also, I just found this on Crackberry:

I was just having the same issue. I found a thread that said to go into your service books (under "Advanced Options") and delete all email addresses with "Cical" after it. I just tried and it seems to work!

Sorry this is my 1st post here so I can't post a link to the thread. But a search for "Calendar Sync" in the title would find it.

I don't have a cical entry in the service books. I have checked it several times, once I had an entry labeled that, and I deleted it, but not since. It did not change the sync issue though.

And I have POP set up on Outlook. Though I never check emails in outlook anymore. I have the email address attached to outlook forwarding to my gmail account. I just use it primarily for calendar.

i have also backed the calendar on the blackberry up then synced it, with no change. I have done the same with outlook. both I ended up having to reload the backup the sync did not do anything.

Could there be something in the java folder that I deleted when I thinned it out to free memory? Though I haven't made any changes until after this started.
