I was wondering is it possible to setup so that any ota will download to my sd card?
Will this option be on os 4.5?
I think there may be one spell checker that installs (or will in its next update) the dictionary on an SD card, but other than that all programs can only be installed on the device itself.
As I understand it, the JAD or JAR you download in an OTA Setup is only saved temporarily in the Browser's cache. A JAD is just a text file that defines what COD (and other) files need to be downloaded and installed. A JAR is a self extracting compressed file (like a Zip file) which contains the COD (and other) files needed to be installed. Ultimately, the JAD or JAR file will flush out of the cache - or you can do it manually, but there really isn't any point.
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i just want to run all my apps from sd card. Keep bb memory low.
You and everybody else on this board!

Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?
