I have this os on my 8300 for the past week and everything was going great for a few days ie youtube, new browser, video camera and html email.

I then realised that if the duration of a call went over the five minute mark the phone reboots. I have heard talk of this before on the stacks so it is obviously a known issue but my questions are:
    (a) Is it specific to the 8300
    (b) Is it specific to this os
    (c) Can it be fixed by deleting certain 3rd party applications etc.

If it cannot be fixed would I be correct in my assumption that there is a version 81 release of this os for the 8300 and if so can somebody be so kind as to post it (if there are no major issues like the one above)?

A smaller issue I have found is that to get youtube working It usually takes two attempts to download the video

Another is that vr+ wouldnt work as it said there was less than 3mb of memory even though I deleted a lot of applications (is this memory leak)?

Has anybody else had these issues or are we 8300 owners as scarce as hens teeth at this stage?

    Thanks in advance!

For business use it's more than irritating.

If my boss found out I was tinkering with the os and now have this issue when talking to clients he would have me hung drawn and quartered so its lucky he is a technophobe!

For what its worth - I've been running 4.5.0.52 on my 8300 for the last three weeks or so and haven't had any issues at all. I was thinking about upgrading to the 4.5.0.75 from TIM Italy, but wasn't sure if there was anything new on there to make it worthwhile.

I'm on .52 and don't really have any big problems to speak of. Everything seems to work except the media player crash after streaming. I don't think I've got the rebooting problem since I've been on much longer calls than 5 minutes since upgrading.
