    rogers doesnt carrie the 8320.... anyone know if i updated to the 8310 OS it would be ok?

    You need to use 8320 software on your device. You do not need to worry about the vendor. Download and install a new 8320 OS on your desktop, then delete the file vendor.alx and it will load in your device. Take a look at Jerrys blog for links to the latest device software.

    Why do you want to install a Rogers OS specifically on your 8320? As stated above, any OS, preferably the newest 8320, can be installed. Are you looking to fix a problem you are having by using an 8320 on a Rogers line?

    The different devices make it nearly impossible to install on one another. There's a specific file for each type of blackberry installed alongside the device's OS which prevents this. It can be bypassed but it'll ruin the wifi along with I don't know what else on your curve so I don't advise it.
