I was under the impression that an OS is an OS....if there are no changes, how will this affect the supposed "stability"....?
Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?

I don't think this one will have any difference, to Optus, but from O2 which I have right now and to this OS I'm preety sure I will see a significant stability. Like for example, browsing the media, and opening apps.

Thanks Flash...still think I'm gonna stick with Optus for a while since this seems to be the same
with very little difference to Optus.

not yet, but just assuming since it's the same OS as the Optus, the browser problem should be the same....

ok, so when I had the pearl I had downloaded the rodgers OS. The phone normally had the at&t OS and I didn't really notice a difference...maybe it's either ignorance or...yeah, ignorance. So now I have the at&t OS for the Curve. Is it really worth it to download a new OS for it if I'm not having any problems??
Cingular is now the new at&t

If there is a newer os with a higher version available than what u hv, I think you should upgrade.u might not see drastic improvements, but there are minor bug fixes and other improvements that make ur phone better

the big jump on the pearl was from 4.2.0.71 to 4.2.1.XX

i don't think there will be much of a difference in all the new OS updates on the curve now that they fixed the major bugs (so far )
