    OS 4.5 Up and Running

    Hey Guys,

I've successfully installed 4.5 OS from MTS Mobility on my Bell Mobility Curve, and all is working exceptionally well!

Lag has dropped, Google Maps & Blackberry Maps loads much much faster, I got doc2go, HTML emails look amazing (I had to resend service books to get it working) I love seeing color haha, and I love the new media player with the play list functionality!

With all that being said, are there any other changes I should be excited about? Am I missing anything?

I'm running around my office getting everyone to upgrade haha!!

One welcomed feature for me was the Media Player it has a 10 or 12 Preset Equalizer, however unless you're playing music you wont even see it when you press the menu key...

Did you register your version of DocsToGo and get the update which gives you Sheets to Go (Excel)?

Hey i previously had the .56 beta and now am running the .66 version.

Whats the deal with the stability of the .56 versus the .66
did they fix any issues with the beta .56 for this official version?
cause i got no issues with the .66 version, so wondering if i should downgrade to the .56......... any thoughts?

i noticed the same problem before (not just 4.5) if berry 411 now beyond 411 or bb maps is running i get a poor connection. also some beta software i have tested for developers has done the same thing..
i my opinion it is a matter of too much memory being used that may be causing this issue. so if you notice this again hold the alt key and push the back button and close out the running apps listed above (or any other in use ) and see if this helps.. sprint does not understand why this happens but i believe its a lack of ram on the device....
    hope this helps

Lack of ram? The CDMA curve comes with 32mb more than the GSM version (8310).

My Upgrade went well too with the MTS Mobility download and I'm on TELUS. Just make sure you delete the vendor.xml file and that's it!!

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~so far I have had no issues either. It is working great, no lag or poor voice quality during calls. The HTML emails are great. Can't wait for an official sprint one though.
