So my phone broke, and I have the one year replacement, no questions asked, If I wait a little bit will they give me one with 4.5 on it already?
It takes many professionals versed in many different area's to help the masses, I am just a single drop in that pool.

It's possible, once their stock of 4.2's go out the door. If not you can easily upgrade it.

excellent. not that it matters much since i am running the TIM version, but hopefully their release will at least be that version or newer. the carrier specific OS's tend to run better for me (altho no issues so far on TIM)

thanks hayden! GREAT news for us ATT peeps!

I think this is just a little too late. For users that really wanted 4.5, they've upgraded already. As for the 8320, with all the buzz about the Bold and Jav around the corner, I would think they wouldn't have as many sales of the 8320 as projected. I for sure wouldn't get another curve knowing what's coming out.

how does this affect BES? I had 4.5 running on my personal phone, but can't upgrade to 4.5 with my BES on my work phone. Will BES automatically upgrade now, or am I stuck with 4.3 forever?

I am really curious as to what version of 4.5 ATT is releasing. I've been using .69 for so long now and it's been flawless. It'll be really anticlimactic for me if it's just that with the att branding...

Not that we're that impressed. I'm on my fifth OS 4.5 beta. They've all run beautifully!

Not sure what you mean how it affects BES? Either your BB runs 4.5 or it doesn't. Your BES typically won't update anything like your OS. If you're asking about the OTA Wireless Upgrade, that's a combination of OS 4.5 and BES 4.1.5+

You're not stuck on 4.3, you can upgrade at anytime unless some Policy keeps you from upgrading.

The At&t powerpoint doc featured in this thread indicates that you'll be able to pick up your replacement with 4.5 on it out of the box in mid Oct.
I'd emailed them pertaining to when they were going to release 4.5 a few days ago, and they didn't bother to respond.
Had to find out the info on Hayden's awesome Stacks
