I think there is a .69 release for the 8300, but it is still in beta, so you would have to do a google search in order to find it. We are not allowed to post or solicit links for beta OS releases.

    Good luck, Marcy!

I apologize. I was mistaken. This OS was not for the 8300, but for all the other Curves.

I think this is the latest 4.5 for your device:

.69 is out there. you will have to google for it. I finally got it installed on my 8310 and it works like a champ. after a few hours of use, it's starting to get a bit speedier. two thumbs up here!!

I just purchased a new Curve and am considering upgrading to 4.5 once it gets here. What's the best release of 4.5 for the 8310?

.55 is stable and works well. I've got .69 on my curve now and it works great. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Google 4.5.0.69 and you'll find it. It's still in beta, so we cannot publish links here on the Stacks.

If a person is not resourceful enough to find it on their own, then don't go aiding them on a public forum for an unreleased beta version. RIM has been cracking down like crazy and is very quick to send the 'cease and desist' letter. Only causes probs for Hayden and before that a mod will lock the thread.
