Installed it yesterday. Haven't found any problems with it yet. Video recording is a nice feature to have! Internet browser is taking me some time to adjust to. All in all I'm glad I made the switch!!!

It works fine for me -- except my fonts are extra bold on the headers for my messages. There are no stock photos or icons for the folders installed, though, with this release, however

All issues that I can deal with. I'm just glad the 8300 is finally getting some love.

I'm actually having som issues with it on my 8820 and I think I have narrowed it down to my 2gig memory card. After a period of time it will reboot itself over and over again. If I format the memory card it'll work fine until I add anything to the card, then it starts all over again. if I take it back to 4.2, I don't have any issues, if I use the card in another blackberry, it's fine too.

    BlackBerry® 8320
    smartphone (EDGE, Wi-Fi)
    v4.5.0.52 (Platform 2.7.0.66)
    Cryptographic Kernel v3.8.5.32a
    Micro Edition Configuration: CLDC-1.1
    Micro Edition Profile: MIDP-2.0
    Micro Edition JTWI Version: 1.0
    Micro Edition Media Version: 1.1
    Micro Edition PIM Version: 1.0
    Micro Edition File Version: 1.0
    Micro Edition Bluetooth Version: 1.1
    Micro Edition Location Version: 1.0.1
Micro Edition Security and Trust Services (APDU) Version: 1.0
    WLAN Version: 2.3.0.67.
    T-mobile Service
    Anyone have any ideas?

Just a thought i dunno if it will help you. But i have had problems with my media card too and they all were all cause of the firewall not being enabled. I would try enabling it if you haven't already, see if that helps you
    Let us know what happens!

Thank you for your reply! I checked my firewall and it is enabled and everything is set to allow.

You put a 8300 OS on a 8820? Or was this a typo?

That link is for the 8300 OS though. You can't install 8300 OS on a 8320. Search the forum you will find a 8320 link.
