It sure is! Even if you don't like it, its not like it would have wasted much time. I have opera mini, bolt, and the blackberry native browser but still use all of them for seprate things. I say do it.

Yes, go with Opera mini for better resolution. As mentioned above bolt's not quite ready. Best advise is to wait till the official version is released. You can view the stacks as if you were viewing it from a PC. You can even edit your profile and posted threads and such from your phone even download zip files . I find myself using it more than the default bb browser sometimes; well, mostly. I think you'll enjoy it too. If not just uninstall it; you've got nothing to loose. If you don't like the cursor on the screen just go to settings and check the box for Mobile view or if you do like the cursor then leave it unchecked. Here are my settings for it:

    Load images (checked)
    Image quality (low)
    Font size (medium)
    Mobile view (checked)
Appearance: this is up to you; depending on what skin you'd prefer. I'm using the black one atm
    Visual effects (checked)
    fullscreen mode (unchecked)
    Show overview (unchecked)
    Auto-complete address input (checked)
    Network protocol HTTP
Wifi (unchecked) I don't have it therefore I have it unchecked if you do then check it.

If you ever want to clear your cache come back to this page and press on clear cookies and clear your history from time to time to avoid memory loss. Good luck!
What's the matter? CIA's got you pushing too many pencils?

Yeah, Opera Mini 4.2 definitely beats Bolt. Bolt renders the pages nicely, but the menus are cumbersome, and scrolling is dismal to say the least. Very choppy.

Opera Mini 4.2 is excellent at rendering pages the way they were meant to be rendered; but when I try to log into My Sprint, I enter in my credentials then proceeds to log me in, then wants to download some sort of file, and I can't get past that. So I guess it's not like the iPhone's Safari, but it's pretty dang close. What's also close is Windows Mobile Skyfire, and Iris browsers. But I don't think they will release a BlackBerry version at all, which is a shame.

I am having trouble getting it to stay in mobile view. For that matter I cannot get it to go into mobile view at all.

OK. Went back into settings and got it to save this time. Been a while since I have used Opera. Had to get rid of it on my Pearl because of space. Loving my new Curve.
