    Oh, So much better..

Well, guys... I took the curve to AT&T today. Noted the tweeky D key, and the creaking side rails, and the random SOS. And for the $99 deal, I got another one. And what a difference. The new device looks like it could be a second edition. The battery design has changed, the lighting tone, as in the LED's on the keypad are more of a violet color. The original had a kind of yelloish greeny color. The siderails arent creaking anymore, and all the keys work. Im back to lala land. And happy again with my berry. Im just hoping that this one will be it. With all of the issues myself and others have had, lets hope they are figureing out that cheaper manufacture, dosent always mean, better profit. The build quality is much better on this one. I LOVE IT!
Ugh, couldnt think of anything to change it to.

After having a few first generation 8800 & 8300 models, I now have the 8820 & 8310 from AT&T. There is a definite improvement in each. However I must say I had no issues with either of the first gen models. The key to remember that just because we read about complaints here, human nature is that people with problem free BB's are far less likely to take the time to write about it. They are out there enjoying theirs as opposed to posting here looking for solutions.

Speaking as the satisfied owner of many BB's (plus prior WM5 & Palms) there is no other device that is as stable, reliable, & useful as a BlackBerry!

We deploy blackberry and wm5/6 devices. I'm so sick of mw phones and the resets because of it falling off the network or active sync issues. I love my launch day 8300.
