    Question Not Freakin Sweet

I work for AT&T and I have a Blackberry 8820 and a Blackberry 8310. My 8820 is working fine but my 8310 is acting crazy and I can't live without these phones. Last night the phone was working fine and then I went home and plugged it up and set my alarm. No problems. This morning when I woke up I noticed the screen blinking on and off. I unplugged the phone and then reseated the battery. The status light will be red for about 3 seconds and then it will act like its going to turn on. Then the screen will go black and the red status light comes on again. I've tried a different battery, my other SIM card, and even another SD card. I've tried no battery and just the wall charger. No success. Anyone got any ideas? This is a COU (company provided phone) and I can't do a warranty exchange so I thought someone might have another answer. I can simply get a new one but that will take a week to ship out and I really need this phone. Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would suggest you reinstall the Device Operating System on you 8310. Here is a thread with more information on this:

I just finished trying that and it doesn't go through. Maybe its because I can't turn the Mass Storage on the 8310 since the OS is tanked. It just won't go through. I guess I just have to wait two weeks until I get my replacement. I wish this was a personal phone because Blackberry would replace it so much faster. Gotta love company provided equipment though...........................its free. lol.

Not sure what you mean that "it doesnt go through" but mass storage mode has nothing to do with installing you OS. Here is another thread to try:

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~the other thing you can try is using JL_loader (its in the download section) to completely wipe the phone and then reinstall the os
