    Here's one... What version of windows are you using? And are you using a laptop that may have powersave features? Specifically idle usb power down?

    hey, i am using windows xp home edition and its on a pc. i just used the program to wipe it and it seemed to work fine and now it is trying to install the software again. ill tell you how it goes

    This could take 20 minutes to an hour so sit back and relax. Don't worry when it reboots and searches for device.

    when i tried to install the new software it got much further but still stopped with the same error but now on the screen is an hourglass going up and down endlessly. no error codes

    Leave it alone for a few minutes and see if it boots up for you.

    ok woah. now the hourglass stoped and it says

    but whenever i click on one the error comes up "uncaught exception: java.lang.Nullpointerexception"

    Who is your carrier. Lets try to get you back to your original carriers OS then go from there.

    OK here is what I want you to try. First uninstall the Operating System you installed to your PC using add/remove programs and use jl_cmndr to wipe again. Then reboot your PC and go here and try that first. Then if that still doesn't work go here and get the .110 for the 8310 and we will go from there. Just be patient and we will get you going.

    well i tried both ways and both failed there own ways. but i have to sleep now. so leave some suggestions and when i get back from classes tomorrow i will try them and update you on how they went. thanks
