Question No! My profiles have all been reset, deleted!

Ok. The last three emails I recieved without an audible notification.... so I think maybe I just didn't hear them or maybe subconsciously ignored them. But on the next one I check my profiles. The one I created was missing. And the settings I selected for all the others are reset to the factory defaults!

    How can this be?

    It's never happened before.

    Details....

    VZW 8330 Curve
    8gb microSD
    File Free: 33,886,979 bytes
    File Total: 83,623,936 bytes
    4.3.0.127

The only thing different recently is that I'm trying out the APnews app andI have the Classy corners today theme.

Should I restore to a previous backup? Will this bring back my profile settings or should I just manually set them again? (I've never had to do a restore).

    Please give me your input,
    David

Yeah. I'm going to try a restore.... Setting profiles by hand sucks. I'll update after the restore.

Still restoring. I knew I should have used the USB instead of Bluetooth. Progress 1/3.

"Thanks" doesn't express my gratitude. If you were a real person I'd hug you. (Just kidding. I know everyone here is REAL.)

    All is well. Thanks.

Also just a thought for anyone who reads this to find an answer. If the profiles are the only thing you need to restore you can do so. Just go to the restore>advanced tab>file> open. Open your latest backup file. And restore the profiles/& options.

what about if you are on BS and a profile file is grayed out?is there any way to maybe open up the .ipd file and just extract profiles?

I seem to lose my profiles every other day lately.
