In my house, there's wi-fi. When I try to send a pic mms, it won't go thru, I get the red x. When I go outside to where my phone reads EDGE, then I am able to send mms pics. Am I gonna have to go outside everytime I want to send a pic? Thanx for any and all help.

You will not be able to use wifi to send MMS. MMS is a service provided by your carrier through their data service and will not work via wifi.

If you are sending MMS it is through your carriers data service.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you Cowboy, I just sent my wife an MMS and I watched as the data went out and in a few seconds she received it. But before I posted, I had one more check to make. I turned off the mobile network and sent the next MMS thru wi-fi only and she indeed did receive the MMS.

In that case I stand corrected. Thanks for clearing it up. I was under the impression that MMS was totally carrier data based and misspoke. My apologize.

Not at all. I am still learning and when I am wrong I appreciate being corrected (and want to be). If your experience and input helps others then feel free to jump in anytime. I hate giving bad information and if someone is able to correct me and help someone else solve their issue then I am always all for it. I did not take your post as rude at all. You were simply stating the facts as you saw them. Thank you for that. As you can see it helped me learn something NEW.
