Hi, I wanted to know what exactly I would have to delete to have the reminders on my calendar work. I have about 4 email accounts synced with my blackberry. Each email account (other than the blackberry email account) has both [CMIME] and [CICAL] versions of it. Also, I have the Desktop [CICAL] and Desktop [CMIME]. I don't know how to get my reminders working. Could someone please explain what I should and shouldn't delete? Thanks. =)

Delete only the email CICAL service books.
Another fix you can do is upgrade to the latest OS here, that will also fix the calendar reminder
    problem:

Thanks. I was wondering if that is a link that I should be accessing from the brower on my bb or from a desktop computer?

    Re: No Calender Reminders

Hi, I was able to download the program by running the program with my bb connected to the computer. I was wondering if there is anything else I would need to do, i.e. turn off my bb and restart it and/or still delete the CICAL service books. Please so advise. By the way, I noticed that the program was an update with multilanguage capabilites. Does that mean I will be able to access foreign websites and be able to read them? Does anyone happen to know the answer to this? If so, please let me know. Thank you!!! =)

    Re: No Calender Reminders

Kyo you will be doing either a deletion of the CICAL books OR
    the OS upgrade.
    Not both.
The OS upgrade will resolve the calendar issue.
If you decide to do an OS upgrade you should probably read through the thread for the OS upgrade.

    Re: No Calender Reminders

I've never performed an OS upgrade before, but I think I can manage. Basically, I should just download the program, stick the USB into the computer with my bb connected to it and let it do it's thing by either clicking "NEXT" or "FINISH" depending on what it is asking me for, right? If that isn't it, could you please walk me through it. Thank you for your help. If that is up and running, I may need your assistance with something else, too...

    Re: No Calender Reminders

^^You need to go into the following directory:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
and delete the vendor.xml file before starting App Loader or it will not recognize the OS.
Then scroll down and make sure you check the boxes for BBMessenger, etc. and next.
It will take some time for it to load. You will get a spinning hourglass for some time. Don't panic
or get discouraged. Just be patient and let it go and you should be fine.
If not, post back. Good luck!

I'll be online for a while if you need any further assistance. We are here for ya

    Re: No Calender Reminders

This actually loaded rather fast though when I went into the Options >> About section, it did not show the Package as 4.2.2.314, Applications 4.2.2.173 or Platform as 2.4.0.76 as the other thread you were showing me said. I don't think this loaded into my bb correctly. Sooo frustrating! I did what you told me to do. Perhaps I need to use the actual BB USB? I am using one that is not for the BB, but works. I mean, my computer recognizes that my bb is connected... if that is the case, then I have to wait until I get home again.

    Re: No Calender Reminders

The reason why I don't think it's working is because it does not ask me to check or uncheck anything...

    Re: No Calender Reminders

I would recommend using the BB usb. It should have taken a lot longer to load than that. You might want to wait until you get home. You definitely want to do a backup on DM first on your BB as well so all of your data is saved first as well. When OS upgrade is completed you will do a restore to get your data back onto BB.
