    No Calender Reminders

For some reason non of my calender entries are notifying me when I have an appointment. I think I have everything configured properly but obviousbly not. Any ideas?

I am connected to BES, and my client seems to be working fine. I have already pulled the battery a couple of times.

Found this answer in thread by another stacker.

Not sure why it's happening, but from what I've read the fix is to go into your Service Books and delete the CICAL service books. It should work then.

Once I deleted the service books it worked for me too. However, I needed to pop the battery out for it to take effect. Of course my calender entries are gone but I can take care of that tomorrow.

    Thank you very much

Can you let everyone know where you deleted the service book from and how you took care of everything?

I am connected to a BES, do I just delete the Desktop CICAL or all of my BIS accounts too?

    Re: No Calender Reminders

I had the same problem, no calendar alarms.

Went into Service Books and deleted CICAL service books. Just deleting those solves the problem.
Do a battery pull and do a test calendar check and you should be up and running with your calendar alerts!

Service books are located under settings>options>advanced options>service book.

I deleted all entries that had CICAL on then. Popped the battery out and tested it.

    Re: No Calender Reminders

HI-a big THANKS!! I am on vodafone uk and was about to return my 8300 because I though there was a problem. You hit the BLACKBERRY menu key, go to options, advanced options, service book and then make sure you delete all entries that have CICAL either on the main address or as a CID. Pull the battery out for a couple of seconds and thats it!!
    MANY THANKS FROM THE UK!!

I was able to do another enterprise activation and get my entries back and now have reminders. Not sure about a resync but I would think it would be ok.

Be careful deleting the BES CICAL service book. There is a technote out on RIM's site that gives more detailed steps.
