I am going to bet Not, i bleive that would be a hardware option, rather than software, but ill help look around..

There's an app on app world that claims to do sumthing similar but it doesn't work as well...I want sumthing that if I'm in total darkness, I could have the option to turn on "night vision"

If you want the standard greenish/grayish night vision shots then I'm pretty sure you need an infrared sensor in the lens. I think any app that claims to give the BB night vision capabilities would probably just be jacking up the contrast in a low light situation to try and simulate the effect.

I have night vision for my Storm!

Go to a really dark place, flick my lighter, and look at my Storm.
(you must do this with green glasses on to get the full effect)

Find some green translucent film or tape.
    Place over flash/video light.
    Shoot.

Seriously, without IR emitter and some IR sensor hardware, your BB isn't EVER going to see in the dark.

My ITT Gen 3 NightVision binocs do not use IR or have an emitter, they just amplify the existing light. Used for boating and work every well even 70 miles offshore.

Definitely a hardware thing. Nightvision on most cameras involves emitting an infrared beam that the camera can pick up and see. The reflection of the beam is what makes nightvision possible there. It would be an awesome feature though!
