I'm just curious what is the shortcut to lock the keypad. For the pearl you can just hold the * key for 2 seconds. How do I do it with the curve? Thanks in advance.

    Re: newbie question

You have to turn off dialing from the homescreen first.

Go into the call button (like you're going to call someone) == hit menu == go down to options == turn off dial from homescreen.

Now you can press the letter K and it will lock your keys.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ no. Do not have to turn anything off. Hold the Left ALT key, hit return and right shift key

    Re: newbie question

I always use the stand bye instead of lock, then i don't make an accidental emergency call. Just hold down mute for a couple of seconds. (and then click it again to wake it up) It will still ring while on stand bye.
