    Question Newbie Media Card Help

    Hi all,

Newbie user. I installed a 2GB Micro SD card on my BB 8310. Formatted successfully.
Should there be an icon indicating a seperate drive showing up on my display?
How do I save data to the media card?

    Thanks in advance.

that version of the DM do you have?? you should have a roxio media manager on there...open that and you can set the top to be where the files are at, and the bottom where the files to be transferred to. very easy just drag and drop.

and no there's no extra icon on display...you can go into media card under options and cofigure it. I have it set to save anything I save on it instead of the device memory.

    Re: Newbie Media Card Help

Your card will show up on your device when you explore the Media applications. For example when you go into Music you will now see folders for
    Media Card
    Preloaded
    Device Memory

If you enable Mass Storage Mode when you connect to a PC your computer will see the card as a removable drive and you can move files easily back and forth. (note you will not have access to the sd card with the BB while connected to the PC)
