Im currently running the Rogers OS - App 4.2.2.89 Package 2.4.0.42. Has anyone on the Rogers network updated their OS to anything newer? I dont seem to be experiencing any issues with the current OS other then some bluetooth issues when answering calls.

    Should I upgrade?

If you don't have a browser, isn't that usually a service book issue? Have you sent service books?

this is beyond just a re-sending service books problem. I'm sure Zipped sent his service books a fews time and tried some other tricks....but this is a problem that has been for the Tmo users with the Unlocked 8300

Funny, I just take it out of my sleep bank, lol.
Yeah, did the whole resend of the service books goodies. Problem is alot of these OS have issues with the service books even if you clear your current cache of books and reset the host routing table.

Somebody said the aussie file is the same as the optus - anyone verify this?
It puts some things from vodafone on the hand held but it is the same os and platform #s. Other than that it works for me on AT&Tingular. I used this one after one of the successful installs.

Thanks Dream for the update - well at least we know there are a couple items different. Wonder if we can get the service books on that one.
