I've had both and settled on Titanium... Crimson was just a tad to "see me" in my business environment...

With that said, they are both stunning to hold and work on... love the contrast from casing to screen that both offer and if you take the time to find the right theme... D-A-M-N!!! they look even better...

I have to admit, the crimson is a nice looking phone...but in my business environment (especially lined up next to the 8800/8820 on the conference room table), my titanium holds its own. A job well done RIM and ATT!!

See, I'm having a major issue, I have a few days left to exchange mine, I have Crimson, and I like it a whole lot, its not too girly, but yet I know every GIRL likes it. The color is not a bright red, its a nice Crimson, and with the black keys it really rocks. But it is just a little too "look at me"...But I'm having a hard time letting it go...even though I feel Titanium is for me, its like a girl you broke up with but still sleep with because its comfortable...hard to drop it until something better comes along.

I've decided, I'll own BOTH! I'm going to buy an unlocked/locked 8320 and just switch as I feel the need...like I do my shoes!

    Thanks jscottbarnes, aka, American Gangsta!

I guess spending $350-$400 is a better deal, than what I would spend with a new line on TMobile w/data/text over a 2 year contract!

I guess I should research how the 8320, unlocked is working on an AT&T network?
I found a phone, I'm bidding on, on eBay, and the sellers says he'll give the unlock code to the winning bidder...how does unlocking the phone work?

You'll have to provide the IMEI of the phone and whatever service is doing the unlocking uses it to make your phone available for use on any GSM network... ATT, TMo etc...

Pretty painless procedure... you'll get the instructions once the IMEI is registered for unlocking - takes about 5 minutes

I actually like the crimson one but since my phone is mainly used for business, I decided to get the titanium which is a bit more understated and professional looking in my opinion. I am going to get my wife one and I am pretty sure it will be the crimson one.

Re: New AT&T Curve - Crimson or Titanium

just swapped my 8300 for a crimson 8310 at the beverly hills att store, only charged me 30 bux for the swap since my 8300 was only three weeks old =P

i like the crimson better after physically seeing it, was going to stay titanium until i walked into the store.

Though red is my favorite color, I chose the Titanium because I found a sweet Pink (my other fav color) cover on Ebay. Plus I had a red SYNC so I thought it was time to change. I think they both look great though.
