    Yeah, I see the same screen and then I click on the Configuration tab and then the "Configure Sync" button. That's where my screen shots begin.

    BIS with Desktop Redirector. Same machine that I was running both with my Pearl.

    Ok Jeff -- lets give this another try...Here is the screen you should see in 4.3 if you go to:
    Sync - Configuration tab - Configure sync -- Address Book -- Advanced

    Note the Map Folder Button. This is where you need to check to see if the proper Outlook Folder is selected...

    No matter what I did, I couldn't get to the point of the "Advanced" button becoming un-greyed without getting the error.

    I tried uninstalling DM 4.3 and re-installing choosing just BIS (not the BES/BIS Redirector option), but still got the same error.

    * FIX *

    I fixed it. Here's what I did:
    1. I downloaded DM v4.2 SP2
    2. I uninstalled DM v4.3
    3. Rebooted
    4. I installed DM v4.2 SP2
    5. Rebooted
    6. Plugged in the 8310
    7. Pointed the DM Connection Settings to the USB port
    8. I was then able to setup the sync configs for all items (Cal, Address Book, Memos, Tasks) successfully. When I selected MS Outlook in each of the config setups, it defaulted the location to the MS Outlook file (Outlook Last Name, First Name\Contacts, etc.). I just accepted the defaults.
    9. I ran the sync and everything worked beautifully.
    I'm assuming that the Redirector works (it's late and I don't feel like dialing in to work). I'll find out at work in the morning.

    Something in DM v4.3 didn't agree with my XP system. Wonder what it was. I'm just glad to be back syncing again.

    you have to use the switch device wizard to change from one device another. Plug in your phone and open the desktop manager and click the switch device wizard. this should fix everything.

    Now that you have 4.2 up and running again if you are feeling adventurous and still want 4.3 you can install it over 4.2 and it will carry over your settings (at least mine did)
