Go into the phone, find the "personal email set up" i con. Click it. If you haven't done so, choose the option to create a blackberry email account. Once that is created then you will have the option to add email accounts. and then you enter your yahoo information.l
Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?

First try a batter pull, if it doesn't show up than; are you sure that you have a "Data Plan" associated with that Device's "IMEI & PIN" You can check this yourself if you have setup an "BIS" account, then you can send your Service Books to your Device. If you have not set one up call your Service Provider and check on that, if they say that it is setup with your Device, then have them Send your "Service Books"

Normally when there is no Icon for "Email Setup" it is because there is no "Data Plan" associated with the Device.

Your best bet is to setup your emails via the PC and your BIS account. Depending on your carrier. Since you have a 8310 then you probably have AT&T that login is located HERE

If you have TMO then you can just go to your TMO account and there should be a link in the lower left hand corner that looks like this: Setup Blackberry Internet Email

    Good Luck

You don't need to create a BB email address just to add another address. The BB email is an optional address.
