There is a way you can get the link from the mobile flickr site..

Login and go to the picture by way of your photostream... actually you can skip that lol

While looking at your photo stream, put your cursor on the picuter, then press your menu button, and select image Address, that will pop up copy address, then you can use that where ever you want..

Such as make a memo pad entry to embed picture.. in the entry save the code

    Code:
    <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/24774120@N05/3218248524/" title="Activetheme2 by mrrwhitley, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3366/...fa7516f7d7.jpg" width="320" height="240" alt="Activetheme2" /></a>

Then you can go back and edit it to your new one...

paste the link into the src area, and change the 3218248524 in the A href, to match the new number you just pasted in the source..

change the alt to the new name.. and edit size if you wish..

Then copy it all and paste it where you want..

Just a note,,, the 24774120@N05 is a direct link to my photo stream it will be the same in all my pictures.. I think the fa7516f7d7 is picture/album specific...

oh and dont use my code lol, log on the pc to flicker, and click share on your photo to get your own unique code lol, you can email it to your phone or what ever

If you just need the url of the photo, then login on the mobile site on your phone, and go to your photo stream, and do menu on the picture you want and get image address..

should give you something like http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3366/3218248524_fa7516f7d7.jpg

Another tip, if you dont want them to go to your photo stream or find it... Then leave out the alt= name of photo, and change the href to just http://www.flikr.com or pinstack. com haha

Change the name so they cant search for you, and change the href so it doesnt link you you..

Cool. I see the image. So you just pasted the url and that's it? No need for the <href> tags and all that thru the wap site?

And is that a Today theme on your 8900? Nice.

Try putting just the link of the image in between the embed tages...http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3573/...b5184328_m.jpg

    Remove everything else.

Actually, getting the image url for the pic on flickr is pretty easy. Getting the image to display on pinstack by manually inserting the right code is now the challenge. Ugh. It's still not working.

Photobucket puts the IMG tags on it for you don't use any spaces between the [IMG]url[/IMG]

Dang you're right. I did try to remove all spaces, but I guess missed that one. As you can see I did successfully embed the pinstack logo above. Stupid mistake on my part. Thanks MercuryMan!

Well, ok back to flickr. After you upload the pic to flickr, open the details of your uploaded pic in the flickr app (might also appear in your email) and click the links under "Comments." You'll be taken to the pic on the flicker site. Hover your cursor over the pic and press Menu. Select "Image Address" and copy it.

Now to get the pic in a forum post, simply type (or create an autotext) the [IMG] [/IMG] tags with NO spaces. Paste the url between the tags. NO spaces :-).

That should do it. Those are more steps than receiving the link by mms for photobucket, but believe it or not, I don't have a text plan, so the flicker method works for me :-).
