    Question Music vs Ringtones

All of my loaded ringtones are under Music. Is there a way to get them under Ringtones so when I want to listen to my music, I won't have to skip the ringtones? Am I overlooking something? I tried to move them from Audio to Music folders via DM but that didn't do anything. I tried to create a separate folder for just my music but on my 8310 it still lists all the songs, including my made ringtones. Help!

Do you have an sd card, cause if the 8310 is anything like the 8320 it all comes under the media manager minus the ringtones

I do have a SD card, all the tones and songs are on the card. They are all under the audio on the card. How do I separate the songs and the tones so when I want to listen to my songs, the tones don't play along with them?

So if I just separate them like that, should it be ok then?

I had this card with my SYNC and it had folders Audio, Graphics, Video, & Music. The card worked as soon as I put it in the 8310.

I am going to cut and paste my music from the audio folder to the blackberry/music and also to the blackberry/ringtones to see if that helps!

You need to do this through your destop mananger/media manager. At least this is the way I did all mine. Use the drag and drop into music or ringtones.

Thanks! Working on that right now!

Is there a way to have separate playlists? Say I want my pop music on one playlist but Christmas music on another?

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

If the tones are only under blackberry/ringtones, you should be set. You also should be able to use a regular 'my documents' or 'my computer' screen to transfer it, as long as your SD is on a Mass Media setting

Thanks! I at least go the music and ringtones separated. It does play very well! I listened to a few songs while playing Brick Breaker. That is good training for the trackball. LOL I am not very good apparently.
