    Movies on my 8330?

I have downloaded a portable movie for my BB. I tried to install it through the Desktop Software 4.7 and that part of it works just fine. I then go to media + videos and select the movie there.

When I go to play it the sound doesn't match what's going on with the movie. The sound is a few seconds faster. When i go to play the movie on my pc it runs fine. Is there a trick to placing movies on the 8330? I just wanted to make sure I am doing things right. If anyone uses a different method could you let me know.

    Thanks.

    Lightbulb movies

I personally put the BB on mass storage mode so i can open it's files and media card through my computer via usb cable. I copy and paste the movie inside the media card section labeled Video. I find it much easier than going through DM. Then safely eject the BB from the comp. Hope this helps!

I used DVDFab Decrypter to remove the region stuff and get it on to my pc. I then use Slysoft Clone DVD mobile to put it into a format for my bb. I just then copy it over to the memory card. Never used DM but the method I use works well for me.
    Hope this helps

    Lightbulb

Options->Memory->(then turn Mass storage mode to ON and also turn Auto enable mass storage mode when connected to ON)

Just incase you do not know how to toggle it. You can always turn it off when you are not connected to your comp. But i leave it on for convenience purposes. Truthfully I dont even bother with Desktop Manager (DM). It serves me no purpose except for backing up and restoring my BB. Media wise i just take the Mass Storage mode approach, and so far ive had 100% success and no problems with the quality of the media i put in the BB.

Hey thanks for all the replies. I will give it another shot without the DM.

Just curious what format are you converting your videos to? MP4 or 3GP?

I played with the frames per second on my video converter and that fixed the same problem for me

The video i have is in 3GP.

It worked, i followed the steps that some of you layed out which was to skip the DM and load the movie through my USB-Memory Card connection.

I have to say watching a movie on the curve is pretty cool, its going to make long trips somewhat entertaining.

    Thanks
