    Did you recently change themes?

I hate to go right to this but did you try doing a battery pull to reset the phone? Its not a cure all but it certainly is worth a try.

Some OS versions have a bug that causes icon folders to become invisible, along with the icons inside them. This might take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to happen. Once it does, you can recover the missing items by going to Options, Theme -- and while your current theme is highlighted, hit the menu button and select "reset theme defaults". You'll lose all the reordering you may have done, but you'll get back the missing folder(s) and icons.

Great! Glad to hear it -- I remember my own panic when that happened to me...

Unfortunately, this seems to be a limitation - at least with the version of the OS that I must use (O2) with my Curve if I want to get the standard T-Mobile browsers & service books with TMo. As a result, I simply don't define folders. I'd like to use them - but would rather have my standard TMo folders.

Hopefully Curve owners will see a change in OS support for the 8300 after 9/24, when T-Mobile is rumored to releasing the 8320. Although T-Mobile won't be selling the 8300 itself, it is thought (hoped) that the 3 month limited exclusive US engagement that AT&T had for the Curve will be at an end, and that T-Mobile will be *allowed* to support the device in the U.S., along with the 8320.

    Crossing my fingers for this!
