I know this has bin asked a million times but i keep getting conflicting information. I just traded up from 8100 perl to a 8310 I have a 2g sd card now but need more space for music and my tv shows. I am with att and I my os is the latest v4.2.2.170 soooo before i make a purchase i would like to hear from anyone that has 4g or larger sd cards. I hear one person say there 6g sd card works then i see were pinstack store has 8g and advertised for perl and curve. then I read were others have had problems for what ever reason.(prob Human error) anyway some feed back would be great.

I am using a Curve 8330 with an 8 gig card. Works just fine. I have enough music and movies to get all the way to Winnipeg (13 hour drive) and back without hearing the same tunes twice.

In fairness, I sleep half of the journey.....

I'm with AT&T with the same phone and the same OS.

4gig is the max we can use.

Yes, 4gb is the one to get. If you get anything higher, you'll have problems.

    Got kingston 4 gigger

Found A Kingston 4 gb on Buy.com with shipping to Alaska i got about 40 bills into it. but if I bought one locally easy 70 or 80 bucks. wish I could put eight gig in Because i could really use it. I collect movies and 60 sitcoms and like to load on my phone. but for now really happy with my 4 gig card. I made one folder for my wifes music and one for mine. although we like allot of the same music I enjoy full throttle Rock AC/DC G and R. Maybe they will come out with OS that supports larger sd cards. I really love our 8310. I also got in on beta testing Miutunes and all I got to say is Wow its really Supper Music player those people really are putting together a great peace of software. glad i did not buy a Ipod I got one thats just as good with my 8310 Curve. Anyway thanks everyone for your input.

I haven't been on these forums in awhile and can't find the 4.3 thread -- is it STILL not out?! I haven't checked the OS update in months, but I'm utterly flabbergasted at how long RIM is taking. seriously.

I have a 4 in my Curve a 4 in my 8800, and carry two 2 gig thumb drives. Man I might be a major geek..... All I need is a pocket protecter and a slide rule.

P.S. its not the side of your memory card, its how you use it LOL
