    Messages...text, email, and outgoing

so i setup my new curve today and found that in my messge center, which i assumed was for text messages, shows my emails too.

So when i get an email it shows up in both my text message and email spots? how do i disable my text message center frrom recieving emails?

also, when i send an email it shows up there as well as a new message, even though i sent it?

also, does anyone know how to move downloaded applications from the applications folder to the main desktop?

    Thanks

Go into a messages folder and press the BB Menu button (to the left of the trackball). Scroll to options and click on that. Scroll down to where it says SMS and E-Mail Inboxes and change to Separate. That'll put your text messages in a separate folder.

As for sent messages, in the same place above SMS and E-Mail Inboxes, change the option for Hide Sent Messages to Yes if you don't want to see your sent messages.

You're welcome! Not sure how to answer your third question and I'm sure someone else will chime in on that one.

Your emails will always show in the specified account and in the message icon also. What most people do is just file the email account to a seperate folder or just hide them.

As for your last question, not sure what applications folde your talking about, but most apps can be moved via the Menu Button and select Move.

    Moving applications..
Go to the applications folder, scroll to the application u want to move, hit the menu button (the one near the call button.) And select move, move it to the up arrow and press the trackball.-dont know what icon is on ur phone, I had an arrow on my phone.. Should be the 1st one on ur app folder.
    Hope that helps.

You can hide the icons you don't want to show.
So if you have already seperated your sms and email inboxs, then highlight the email icon that you want to hide. Click the menu button and select hide.
    I hope this helps!

    Welcome!

From what I understood from your first post you wanted to seperate your text messages from your email messages, right?

Are you adding a yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc account?
For example....I added my yahoo account to my blackberry, so I receive all my yahoo emails directly to the device. I also keep my text and email inboxes seperate. So, I have a yahoo icon for my email as well as the blackberry standard icon for the email inbox. When I receive an email I will get that email in both boxes. As this was a little annoying I just hid the standard icon (because I like the look of the yahoo email icon better)
Hopefully I understood your question correctly and this makes more sense.
