Messages Don't disappear off of ZEN Theme.

Hey everyone. I use the Zen Today theme, but it's a big pain! Sometimes when I receive messages (I think mostly SMS's that i've noticed) even after reading them they stay on the front page! Sometimes when I even delete them, they're still there! The only way to fix it is to reset it (by taking out the battery) So i'm not sure exactly what to do. I changed the theme to the normal Zen, and it works fine, but I really use the Zen Today theme a lot more!

Does anyone know what's the problem? Thanks!

    Kent.

I had this problem once, actually it was a sms from a young lady that just won't accept no as an answer; so you can imagine how frusting seeing that message every time I looked at my BB.

But any I called ATT and the walked me through a procee that involved the DMS- The messages- advanced, backing up - then deleting the messages then syncing and that. Cleared that up and I never had that probjem again.

How did you just clean the blackberry data? There are no options that I can see to back it up and clean out just the calendars data. Can you tell me how? Thanks! K.

I have the same problem with the today theme and sms messages. I've managed to fix the problem (so far) by deleting the sent items to that sender. I think it has to do with the way history is stored on the blackberry.

Not sure of the cause but found an easier way to fix the problem. Go to your messages, options, general options. Under general options change SMS and Email inboxes to separate. That removes the message. Change it back to combined or theme controlled if that's how you prefer. Easier and quicker than a battery pull.

I would still love to know how and why this happens but at least there is a quick fix for it....

Which Method? Did you "Clear" the old messages? as explianed above in step 5 & 6? I just received a message from the person I spoke about and deleted it with no residue. So the step above works and it appears as though you only have to do it once...

Instead of just the calendar, I also did it just now with the messages & calendar. Let's see if it works now! Cuz today I received another message from someone different, and it got stuck. Shame. Let's see of it now works. And to answer your question, yes. I did do those steps exactly. I also upgraded the OS. Let's cross our fingers and hope!
