Messages - Display all (Calls/email/sms)
1st Post - Thanks for the great info everywhere, might as well ask the only question on my mind, although I know it is somewhere around here.
Okay, all said and done, all listed in messages is helpful, although how do I limit it only to SMS?
I'm tired of having to right click on missed phone calls and mark as opened just to limit the number of messages...
Thanks in advanced.
Go to Call Log, Options, Call Logging, and change to None.

You can separate your Messages folder to have one for general Messages and one for SMS/MMS.
To do this go to Messages>Options>General>scroll down to SMS and Email Inboxes and change the option to separate.
If you want to stop calls from going into your messages box you can go to Phone>Options>general options>Call logging and change it in there.
Once you separate the inboxes Call logging should only appear in the Messages folder and not the SMS/MMS folder, I believe.
its based on OS and theme. for 4.2 and up
- go to your message folder and select
- select menu
- scroll down to where you see "SMS and email in boxes"
- select separate
at This point you will have two folders on your home screen. one is SMS and the other is for emails. If you dont have the option to separate then you can't.
Great help thanks guys....
Okay, so I changed from theme combined to seprate, although all that did was leave the emails in my messages box, leaving me with no SMS folder. Of course I can go to view folders> SMS Inbox. Now how would I make the message folder just contain SMS?
Thanks again, great help, I look forward to a long stay here at pinstack.
EDIT: Hmm, I see the SMS and MMS folder in the Menu area, although I wish I could pull it onto the home screen of the Theme.
Theme: Precision Zen
EDIT 2: Like in elementary, raise my hand, and then answer my own question.
Solution: First 5 folders appear on Home Screen :-)
Thanks again guys.

Reason: Retardedness <-- ;-)
Welcome to PinStack, koh!
If you've done what the gentlemen above have described, you should now have a separate folder/icon for SMS/MMS texts.
By the way, once you've separated the two, it's from that point forward that they will come in and be dispersed to their respective folders.
With the Zen theme you should be able to change the icons on your homescreen. The icons you want visible on your home screen have to be in the top row of 5.
Open your applications list to see all your icons, highlight the icon you want to move, open menu, and select move. Then move it to the top row.
