    my memopad does not sync anymore with my outlook notes... it used to but for some reason it stopped syncing...

    i tried turning off and on the wireless sync and resetting hoping that it would kick start it somehow, but to no avail...

    i added a new memo on the bb, but it didn't add it to my desktop like it used to do a while back...

    i've been getting my emails fine, tho...

    not sure if it matters, but i'm on a bes...

    any ideas?

    Contact your BES admin and check with them, they may have changed something on their end or may need to resend the BB registration.

    how do you "resend the registration"? does this have something to do with service books?

    Service books I believe are only for BIS, you may need to reregister with the BES again to re-enable the memo syncing since it is set to wireless = yes. Your BES admin in your company IT dept should be able to help you do that.

    my company admin is unavailable to do this... how would i go about doing this myself? battery pull? i already tried doing the wireless sync off/on/off/on thing and that didn't seem to work...

    You can try a battery pull but if that does not work I am not sure how to do it without IT help. I am not a BES admin so I get lost at that point.

    Have your bes admin try disabling and reenabling it on the bes. If that doesn't work have them resend the service books.

    thanks for the reply, but i don't want to notify my bes admin for fear of them finding out i have an "unapproved" blackberry...

    is there another way to get this synced up again?

    how did you get an "unapproved" BB on BES? If someone in IT added the device for you have them resend the service books or readd the device. If you cannot get anyone to do that for you, then you may not be able to get it to sync again through BES. You may try using desktop manager to sync it when connected to the PC via USB. Turn off wireless sync for memopad and set it up through DM to sync that way. It should work fine but will only sync when connected to the PC.

    actually, now that i'm looking at the other apps, nothing seems to be syncing...

    tasks
    memopad
    address book/contacts
    even emails
    - i can send and receive emails fine, but deletions and "read" indicators don't sync
    - deleted on bb then deletes on desktop
    - deleted on desktop but does NOT delete on bb

    strange...

    a bit frustrating... thanks for the help

    Doesn't sound like you are on the BES anymore. I would need a BES admin to verify that but I think that is what is going on. Is this BB provided by the company or is a personal one that you had connected to the BES? If it is a personal account then it may be using the BIS side to send/receive from. You may just have to sync via DM from now on if you cannot get reconnected.

    i can't even sync through DM anymore...

    which of the following options is it?
    - application loader
    - backup and restore
    - switch device manager
    - certificate sync
    - email settings
    - media manager

    i tried app loader and certificate sync and neither seemed to the trick... am i missing something? i'm using DM 4.2.2.14 and 8320 OS 4.2.2.180
