    Question Media Manager Error Message

Hey guys I installed the Desktop Manager Software that came with my curve. But then when I open up Media Manager I get this error message.

C:\Windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows application. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

I have a choice to either close it or ignore it. I click ignore and nothing happens.

    Please Help thanks!

    Re: Media Manager Error Message

What OS is running on your PC. What version of desktop manager did you install? Was it a download or from the CD in the BOX? All I can think to suggest is a clean install of the desktop manager without knowing the answers.

here is the link to download a new version.
sp2 has roxio for media manager, converts automagically
it's a big file, but worth the time

It is nothing to do with the Blackberry software. You need to have a copy of autoexec.nt in the Windows/System32 folder.

If you do not know how to do this - then follow these instructions

Click Start, click Run, type C:\windows\repair, and then click OK.
Right-click the Autoexec.nt file, and then click Copy.
Click Start, click Run, type %windir%\system32, and then click OK.
In the System32 folder, press Ctrl + V to paste the Autoexec.nt file in this folder.

    Re: Media Manager Error Message

You don't have a C:\WINDOWS\system32 Folder? I think that's more serious than just getting media manager to open.
