    Media Card Trouble

I have a Sandisk 2GB card on my 8300. I have about 80 mp3s, and 5 hrs of video stored on it. I downloaded about 8 more mp3s to my PC and was transferring them via DTM to my phone. 5 were successful, but the last 3 would not transfer. When I tried to drag them down and hit "copy", a box came up that said "file transfer error-one or more of the following could not be transferred" and then it listed the song. Im still showing that I have 997 MB of free space. Has anyone got any ideas as to what happened? I bought them from Amazon, as well as the other 80 I have, this is the first time this has happened.

It may not be the card but actually the PC. If the file is open or in memory use somewhere, it will not transfer the file. Try disconnecting the BB and rebooting the PC. Then try transfering without opening the file first. That will clear it from the PC memory.

I finally got it to download the last three mp3s. I closed the DTM, did a soft reset to my 8300 and started the process again. One thing I've noticed about the whole media card thing is that it is kind of a hit or miss thing sometimes, I guess thats the nature of the beast though. thanks dough!
