That's one I cannot figure out yet.
Remember when on the pearl you could create a folder from the computer and put items in there but te ony way to view them on the media section was to explore the memory card... the Curve seams to be picking up even that folder.
Anyone know how to make it stop so i can hide my files again...?
I would love to know the answer to this as well... I haven't been able to figure it out either.
well would someone figure this thing out....lol
Thumbs must hurt....
Give the lazy man a hard job to do, and he will find the easy way to do it!!!
You mean you create a folder outside the actual BBerry folder??
BB8900 is mine!
Yeah...eventhough you create a folder outside of the bberry folder the phone still picks up the files in the media section...ive tried everything! only way is to make the files hidden but then u cant see them in the explore section.... SOMEONE HELP!!!
Odd... so you save the folder outside from pics, music, videos, and ringtones in your media and it still shows up on your BB?
It's not an iPhone addiction, it's insomnia!
Yup, I've tried to make a folder inside folders and the media still picks up the files outside of the regular folders...~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~man that's wack. Hmm. I have the pearl and I know there's jpg's I don't want my girl to see. I wish there was a password option that you'd have to enter b4 you can access them.
I just disable access to media card.
go to option
media card media card support. turn it off when you don't want anyone to access and on when you want to.
you can also set a password so if it is plugged into a computer they cant access it until you enter pass on bb
A standard trick for making a folder invisible on many operating systems is to change its name to something illegal, say a single control character (ASCII DELete is popular).
Just an idea -- I cannot test it since my BB does not take media cards.
Haha, seriously, we have evidence against Justyn!
BTW, the link is OTA.
I don't think there is any encryption with this program, it looks like it only adds an extension to the file/s, but for what you explain I think it will work out just fine.
Here is a very good explanation, http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...lackberry.html
