If you have 4.5 OS then you can go use an 8GB. That's what I'm using at the moment.

If the OS in your profile is up to date, your device can handle up to 4gb. 4.3 and up (including 4.5 as Heavy C said) can handle 8gb cards.

it all depends, these guys did not mention if you have 4.2, then your restricted to 2 gigs

but you could put a larger card e.g. 4-8 gigs. 4.2 will only format up to 2 gigs but once you upgrade your OS to 4.3 or 4.5 then you can reformat and the card will go to the correct limit.

If you have an 8 gig, and run on 4.2, you can only get 2 gigs formated, then if you go 4.3= 4gigs, 4.5=8gigs. All with the same card,(just need to reformat)

just go with the biggest you can afford right now, that way you dont have to keep buying cards, just one

Thanks for the clarification, somthinsim, but here is the breakdown as I understand it with regard to OS versions and media card capacity:

    OS 4.2.0 -- 2gb
    OS 4.2.1+ -- 4gb
    OS 4.3.0+ -- 8gb

Someone can correct me if I'm mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that is the correct breakdown.

    Hope this helps!

    Roger

when will they release 4.2.1 and 4.3 for 8320? Most of what I herd is that Tmo is going to go straight to 4.5 which Roger and I have.

Pretty much sounds like they're going straight to 4.5. Supposed to happen by September, but we won't hold our breath!
