    Max video file (AVI)

Is there a file size limitation for AVI files for them to play on Curve? I tried playing a 44MB file and it gave me an error message. Unfortunately I only have this one file to test.

    Many thanks.

The limit theoretically should be the capacity of your memory card. It may be your .avi file. It could be encoded with divx or something like that. For the media player to play an avi file, it has to be a pure avi. I don't think the BB has any special codecs installed.

Thanks DCookSta. How do I check whether the .avi file has divx?

You can either use GSpot or MediaInfo. I believe both can be found at videohelp.com.
