    mass "DSN(failure)" emails

I'm at a loss and figure the gurus here would know better and faster than someone I'd have to sit on the phone with for an hour at Cingular.

this morning I wake up to 108 new emails. 103 of them "delivery status notification(failure)" from myself. open the email and there's no real information, just saying:

has not been delivered to the recipient's BlackBerry Handheld.
The returned error status is <GENERAL_ERROR>

ok, its not a big deal that I got them, but I've got customers saying they got them too. one customer got 137, another got 250, yet another got 299.

    this is not good.

I have a Curve and service is thru Cingular.

any help/direction would be greatly appreciated.

    oh:
I'm not on a blackberry server or whatever, so I guess that makes all my accts 'push accts'

Do you have the Desktop Redirector running somewhere? Did you attempt to set up for a BES?

I dont believe so and I dont think so.

    sorry....I'm not super computer savy.

but it all happened last night (like between midnight and 3am)
office computer (only one with my email accts on) was actually off
and wasnt messing with my blackberry

last week I downloaded the new desktop manager and messed with that a little bit (trying to make some downloaded movies work on the BB) but havent used it since then.
and I dont sync between my desktop and handheld very often (like, ever unless putting some work stuff into the memory on the BB)

On the desktop manager does it show an icon for redirector? if it does you set up for the BES and if you do not have it it shoves service books to you that you have no access to and causes all sorts of drama.

    it does not
only: application loader, backup/restore, media manager, swith device wizard, synchronize

this has been my only glitch with blackberry. had my curve since the first day available to us here, and my pearl before that, since December.
