    hi folks... hope i didnt overlook my search results, but i couldnt find anything on making an icon on the application screen for a web-page shortcut.

    anyone know if its possible, and if so, how? or where i can find out how to?

    bookmarks are fine and all, but i have a few webpages that i want one click access to. any ideas/suggestions? thanks.

    thanks for that link. unfortunately it wont let me shortcut an 'https' site. any other ideas?

    Really? It won't link to a https? I don't think it will directly.

    That's the only app that gives you links on your home screen. Unless yoi can make you own.

    I use this for all my most frequently visited sites. It rocks!

    why not bookmark on opera mini or other browser startpage.only an extra click.

    Only an extra click, I totally agree. I removed all these home screen shortcuts after just a couple of days of (not) using them.

    Instead, being able to add Web pages to the quick dial list would have been a lot more useful. I immediately picture myself pressing and holding G to launch Google...
