The 8330 is a CDMA device so won't be available through your carrier if you have an 8320

I feel your pain!! I have Alltel myself. I am sure that they won't be too far behind the others though. I would guess late May. Need to check with some friends at Alltel on that though.

I may actually go back to SPrint for the Gunmetal black one....never thought I'd say I would go back to Sprint lol. I have an 8320 now, I will probably wait for the 9000 series to come out and see what that's all about.

NOT fair, not fair, not fair, I want (and need) more flash memory but I am partial to GSM carriers, hope the upgrade pans thru newer GSM BBs too.

wait a min!!!!! dont everyone get there hopes up. that 96 mb might be a typo. go to that link again and click on the features tab. then scroll down to Maximize Convenience and look.

    Maximize Convenience

    • <LI class=linked>Wireless modem capability: Use your smartphone as a wireless modem for your laptop or PC*

Definitely some strange things going on. Here's what I've noticed:
    1. When it was just Verizon, the specs tab showed 64MB like all GSM Curves
    2. When Sprint was added, the specs tab was updated to 96MB
    3. We've seen screen shots showing 96MB for Sprint

I'm assuming 96MB is correct and the 64 we're seeing is a copy from a GSM page that hasn't been updated yet. I can only assume all CDMA will have 96MB, not just Sprint.

will all 96mb be available for use to us customers? or will it really be 96-32 equaling 63mb, with 32mb not being available?

Earlier screen shots indicated 96MB would be available. OS will still take it's chunk, but at least it'll be from 96MB, not 64MB. I'd expect to get an addt'l 32MB of free memory in addition to whatever you have available now.
