    Loosing T-Mobile Service?

For some odd reason, my curve (have had it for about a month now) keeps going into SOS mode and loosing it's signal in my home. I've NEVER had an issue with this before (or any other phone I've used) and have always had a full signal in my home.

This just started yesterday.. any ideas? I only have one bar at the moment, where I usually have a FULL signal.

sounds like tower problems. Do you have any other T-mobile phones you could test the signal strength with?

    I don't unfortunately

Is this something that's generally repaired pretty quickly? I use my phone as a home phone as well and without any signal, it's a bit of a problem.

if its a tower problem then there's nothing you can do but hope it gets repaired soon. I'd suggesting calling up 1800-tmobile and talking to a rep to see if there is service problems in your area. if they come back saying negative on it, I'd see if there is a friend who could let you borrow their phone to pop in your sim card and see if the same thing happens in your house. it could just be an issue with your handset.

a long shot, but might help, is reinstalling your OS. perhaps something isn't working quite right with it? this last suggestion is a long shot, as I've never had a reception issue be connected to my OS malfunctioning.

    goodluck!

odd.. I'm getting people trying to get a hold of me and telling me my phone is telling them "all circuits are busy".. even my buddies house phone (landline) is being funky.

What the hell is going on here in So Cal. Anyone? this all started LATE last night (12ish).. throughout today.

this is a common issue with t-mobiles curve. for some reason coming out of the box it loses the signal with the sim card. this issue has been resolved. i have also recently noticed that tmo will be launching their first 3g phone in jan 08. so they are now catching up

I only experience the sos problem when I drop my phone. It does sound like a tower issue. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
