My battery cover seems a little loose to me. Well, it snaps in and it's not going anywhere, but it feels like there's a bit of a bow in the middle, I can push on the middle of it and it's bounces a little. But that's bottom piece that says Tmobile is pretty sturdy on mine.

You are not alone, I sorta had the same problem.

I am sure it has been less than 14 days since you bought your TMO Curve.
You should take it back to where you got it and tell them that you have a faulty one.
Unless your phone is in a pretty banged up shape, they will swap it for you.
I am glad I did, no more creaky part...

Did RIM correct the problem with dust under the display that the 8300 had/has?

i hear ya, i noticed on the new one i got that the buttons are not as sturdy though.
Im debating if i want to be anal and return it or just leave well enough alone.
That would mean getting new codes for all my apps, and that sucks.
