    loading Mobipocket reader

I've been messing around with trying to load the Mobipocket reader, but all I find are folders, and the application loader wants a file. What am I doing wrong? I naively tried to copy and paste the reader directly onto the media card via media manager, but nothing happened.

dunno what your problem is, but found a post regarding your application.

Are you able to install the application? in order for that, you'll need .alx files, or do a OTA installation. where your browser can be pointed to a .jar file.

    Re: loading Mobipocket reader

Dumb question: How do I find .alx files, and what is OTA?

BTW, I do not have internet service on my BB, so anything I load onto my BB is done from my PC.

.alx files are programs made for desktop installation
OTA is over the air installation, it means you point your browser to a application that supports ota (.jar file).

since you dont have a BIS plan on your BB you cant use OTA, you'll have to get the alx files
