since the version numbers are the same, there probably isn't one difference at all..especially if you are downloading one that isn't your carrier

What about sprint? Still no release? I tried to download and it said I have the most recent version. 4.3. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Absolutely no difference at all. One provider felt it was stable enough to release, while others are still probably testing it.

Think by downloading tellus (or anyother wireless service provider) instead of veizon it would get rid of the annoying 150 character limit or the crippling of navigation functions?~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

You will still have the limits after Upgrade.

I downloaded the verizion update and it says .77 and works just fine...

Installed it on my Alltel 8330 and works great. Love the html email.

First time I ever changed my OS. Was a little afraid I'd brick my BB.
By reading here though I knew, even if I did brick it, someone would help.
Don't forget to delete the vendor file.

Same situation as JoE113,what about sprint? And here's another crazy ?, I've only had the 8330 for a couple of weeks, does upgrading os hurt any warranties with device? Thanks

Before upgrading to the new OS, my 8330 curve from verizon was doing fine... After I upgraded to the latest OS, now when I play pacman it freezes and pauses. Right before I get to 10K to get the extra man, games freezes and the phone locks up.. What is going on and how can I fix it?
