No, the only way is to download and install on your PC and load via DM or the included Loader executable in the application software package.

Thank you,,
I've trouble with my signal...I will try to install new OS maybe it can help.
-
Video application and camera both lock up my unit after installing this OS. I have to reset it after I try either application.
Has anyone else experienced that or found a fix?

Connection
This is great information. I look forward to using it. Connectivity seems to be my problem. I cannot get any computer to recognize my 8310 (ATT). I have tried all usb ports and 2 different cables. Probably something simple that I missed. Can you assist me?
Thanks!

this is probably because att has not released this version for the 8300 or 8310 unfortunately. i forget how i got to it now but when i went to the bb site and tried to dl it it asked for my pin. i put it in and it tells me there is no dl for my phone and sent me to a page to receive email notification once it becomes available through att.

this may help
Have you upgraded your desktop manager to the latest OS requirement? If not do so. To make sure it actually installed, co to control panel/ add remove programs. Then try to hook up your phone again. The PC should recognize your phone.

If you are having issues with your PC detecting your device. First make sure you have desktop manager installed on the PC you are trying to connect to. As long as you don't have a bad port on your device this should install any drivers needed to detect your device and your PC should recognize it. Next you will need to download and run a 4.5 operating system. Since ATT doesn't have an official 4.5 you can chose any from the list and download.
Once downloaded run the file to install it to your PC. After you have done that go to c/program files/common files/research in motion/app loader and delete the vendor.xml. This should be the last file in the folder. Reboot your PC and then connect your device. Once connected open desktop manager and the update process should start. If not post back and someone will help you figure out what else you need to do.

It's about time AT&T released their own 4.5 update! Lol! It was said to be released months ago, back in September I believe... Oh well, thanks for the update stackers! ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
