If you are running BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2.66 to 4.2.2.103, install the 2007 Calendar Patch. For instructions, see 2007 Calendar Patch for BlackBerry Smartphones.

If you find the instructions in this link diffficult to follow post back and we will walk you through it...it appears you can download the patch OTA (over the air) on you BB Broswer or install on your desktop. Here are the OTA instructions:
To apply the 2007 Calendar Patch by downloading it (through the browser on your BlackBerry smartphone):
    1. Please visit http://www.blackberry.com/calendarpatch using the browser on your BlackBerry smartphone.
    2. Click on the “download” button to initiate the download of the 2007 Calendar Patch.
    3. When the download has completed, a reset may be required. This reset may take up to 5 minutes.
    4. Once the patch is applied, you can view the status of the patch in Advanced Options > 2007 Calendar Patch.
My only concern is that it does not list this OS as affected...so lets try this and see if it helps...otherwise we may need to look deeper...
Yeah this OS should have resolved it. I have it installed and have no calendar issues. We'll see if that works!

LG...you worked with Kyo on the original install - do I understand that this issue occured with a prior OS as well? Any chance that this is related to service books? Take a look at this info:

Whoo hoo! I resent the service books and then pulled out my battery. It works! Haha.. no need for the calendar patch. I'm such a happy camper. My working bb has made my day! Thanks Gary, Lavagirl and Cherriciodo.

    Re: Latest 8310 OS: Singapore Telecom v4.2.2.184 / 2.5.0.40

I know that I said it worked and it did for a while. Today, I had two different reminders for things I needed to get done. However, after I deleted those, the ones for tomorrow did not show in my theme. Does anyone know if installing the patch should fix this error? My Platform right now is 2.5.0.4.0 and the App Version is 4.2.2.184(338). The funny thing is, I took out my battery and one of the events showed up in my theme, but the rest are missing. I took out the battery another time to see if another event would show up, but nothing did. I am going to try to install the patch right now and keep my fingers crossed. Gary, Lavagirl and Cherri, do you guys think you can look into this and provide me a solution? I would appreciate it very much so. Thank you guys in advance. If anyone else knows of a solution, please let me know as well. Thanks.

Hmm, it seems my OS is not within 4.2.2.66 to 4.2.2.103... I'm baffled.

Somehow it sounds like it's related to your theme. Maybe try changing theme?
You can try the patch, just remember like Gary said this OS was not one of the ones affected
by the calendar issue and shouldn't need that patch.
If it doesn't work, I'm thinking it is your theme as I'm running the same OS with no calendar issues.

Yes, that means the patch is incompatible for this OS because like Gary said this OS was not affected and did not need it. I would not install it, I would steer clear of that.

I deleted all my e-mail service books and resent them. Rim says to, delete CICAL service books if you have more than 1, to resolve calender issues. I just got mine fixed tonight.

This was an issue/resolution on the older OS but shouldn't be on this one, it was resolved. But if you were having issues and had to resort to that then great!
kyo you may want to try this way instead of doing the patch.
I hope you aren't trying to load the patch right now

If you still don't get your calendar reminders after that, go into Options>Advanced Options>Service books>and delete all of your email service books that you see with CICAL except one. Leave one, reboot your BB and you should be good.
I still don't understand why this OS is not working for you with the calendar reminders as there have been no other reported issues from anyone on that.

Hey guys, I think I actually found another solution to the problem I was having with my 8310. I just deleted all of my calendar entries and reentered them. For some reason, the reminders started to work and they even showed on the theme I was using. I thought I would report that to you so if anyone else has this same problem, you may be able to tell them that. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this will work. As of right now, my bb is officially glitch free. Thanks soooo much for everyone's help. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

i lost MMS capabilities with this upgrade

    so far, i have:
deleted mms service books and resent
reboot with power off AND battery pull
sent an MMS to myself (tried at least)

all i get is the big red X -- and when sent an mms, it says to retrieve later, and i choose retrieve now, it acts like its doing something...then nothing.
