im halfway thur the install process - loading java apps...gonna watch a lil tv while it finishes (not pace the kitchen and find stuff to get me into trouble )
The service books are not provisioned by AT&T, however it is possible to load to your device via USB. As soon as I get the last two service books into a file, I'll post all the details.

P.S. I may need a place to host said files. (nudge, nudge, , )

I did manage to install all four IM clients (AIM, Y! Messenger, ICQ, and G-Talk) on my curve during this upgrade. However, I now need the assistance of a T-Mo customer using the 8320, to make them work. I have G-Talk and Y! Messenger working, but am still working on ICQ and AIM. I know how to do it, just need to borrow a service book or two.

    Any volunteers?
Tmobile just barely got the service books for the 8320.

BB Weather is kind of funky to set up. There is a thread in the 3rd Party Apps Forum that explains the process.Maybe someone will come along and link you to it.

The funky part is that, when you first start it up, there are no locations defined, and you get an error dialog to that effect; if you hit the wrong button at this point, the application locks up. If you hit the right button, you get to then choose a weather report location (i.e., specify a zip code and a description), and all is good. I really don't recall the details because once you've set it, everything works so well you don't need to worry again -- but I believe that when you get the initial error dialog, you should press the trackball. After that you can use the menu button, go into Options, and define your first weather profile. From there on it should be clear skies ahead...

Thanks guys. i have had issues before and set up multiple addresses. but for some strange reason. pushing track ball or left button to get to options locks it up. Not sure if somebody else has this issue. It usually is very smooth as have had on my last 3 bb also.

@hockey - I just had to redo this after loading the new OS, and the "press the trackball" trick worked for me (unlocked AT&T Curve, T-Mobile, new SingTel OS).

One of the threads on this is:
    http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...bbweather.html

    another thread:
    http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...on_lookup.html

...also: disable MDS proxy in options.

Works fine for me now on this OS.
